Dr. Maria Pedemonte was born and raised in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.  Dr. Pedemonte is the Director of the Molecular Oncopathology and Reference Laboratory Division at Morristown Pathology Associates. Having trained at Columbia University, she is Board Certified in Hematopathology, Anatomic Pathology, Clinical Pathology , and Immunopathology. Dr. Pedemonte is also Medical Director at Clinical Laboratory Management in Union, New Jersey. Dr. Pedemonte was an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Pathology at the Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons and served as Medical Director at GenPath / Bio-Reference Laboratories, Bergen Regional Medical Center, JFK Medical Center, Quest Diagnostics and Cancer Genetics, Inc. Dr. Pedemonte has been a member of Morristown Pathology Associates since February 2004.

Dr. Pedemonte has been working in this field for over twenty-five years.  Given her experience and position, she has dedicated her life to ensuring that all persons who are in need of medical diagnosis and laboratory testing, receive the proper care that they need.  MP Pathology was founded for this very reason and is dedicated to providing professional and affordable laboratory testing and diagnosis.  

Dr. Jory Magidson is the President of Morristown Pathology Associates. He is a graduate of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and is Board Certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. He completed his residency at UCLA Center for the Health Sciences. Dr. Magidson specializes in Hematopathology, Flow Cytometry and MOHS Pathology. He is also Medical Co-Director of Laboratories at Morristown Memorial and Overlook Hospitals. He has been with Morristown Pathology Associates since 1983. Dr. Magidson and Morristown Pathology Associates have made possible the expansion of these services to disadvantaged patients at an affordable price.
